New restaurant coming to Clapham
A new restaurant will be opening in Clapham next month, giving residents a new dining option.
The MEATLiquor chain is set to open its latest outlet at a site in Northcote Road, at Clapham Junction, where it will occupy the spot that used to be a steak eatery. Once it is up and running, it will be the chain’s twelfth restaurant in total, with these being spread around the UK, and it replaces one in Bristol that closed during last year.
Three of the existing MEATLiquor restaurants are located in south London, in East Dulwich, Brixton and Croydon. The new Clapham branch will offer the chicken wings and burgers that have made its name, as well as a range of sides.
Having started out as just a burger van, the chain has grown to be a highly successful name in the UK restaurant sector and according to Big Hospitality, Scott Collins, its co-founder stated in a jokey post on social media:
Restaurants often make use of places that supply flyer printing to help them when it comes to publicity and raising brand awareness in the community after they open.

“We open (MEATLiquor) next month on Northcote Road next door to Franco Manca. It’ll be small but perfectly formed. Which idiots open another restaurant in this climate (financial and weather?). Us. Shots!”
