Kaine Macauley is hoping to get the go ahead to create this bar within the Top of the Town district, bringing a vacant unit back into service. His application is set to alter the use of this unit so that it can house a bar that is equipped with a vaping centre where people can access both drinks and flavoured smoke through electronic shisha pipes.
He is arguing that this would provide the people of Basingstoke with something totally unique and, speaking to the Basingstoke Gazette, he said that:
“We will have indoor smoking pipes all through electronic devices, which no one has ever done before. They are all capable of having alcohol so give you a stronger effect. It is shisha but it’s not the same as normal shisha.”
