Anton du Beke and Erin Boag have become household names as a result of the BBC dance show and this has led them to create a series of popular live events. They are now about to launch the twelfth of these, which has been given the name ‘Dance Those Magical Movies’ and will see them perform show-stopping routines from some of the greatest films ever made.
One of the stops on the tour will be Basingstoke, with the Anvil set to serve as the venue for their show. They will be accompanied on the night by vocalist Lance Ellington, as well as an orchestra and an ensemble of backing dancers.
Print shops in Basingstoke that supply brochure printing are sometimes called upon to create glossy programmes ahead of events like this. Speaking to the Basingstoke Gazette, Erin stated:
“We did musicals last year and it was great because people could relate to it so we thought we would do the same with movies and it is something that Anton and I both love.”
