This work on
the Basingstoke Aquadrome, situated within Basingstoke Leisure Park, is taking place throughout this month and early next, with the expected completion date being the middle of March.
It will see the current changing village there undergo a comprehensive renovation, including the construction of new cubicles for changing, a space for parking buggies and lockers offering easier access.
Basingstoke and Deane Community Leisure Trust’s contract manager, Alan Elliott, stated that he was pleased that people living in Basingstoke and the wider district would have the opportunity to enjoy the improved facilities on offer at the revamped changing village. In an interview with the Hampshire Chronicle, he added:
“The trust aims to provide facilities that encourage active and healthy lifestyles and this refurbishment will help us to achieve that and hopefully attract even more people to the centre.”
It has been confirmed that Basingstoke Aquadrome will not be closed while the construction work is being carried out, but there will be temporary amendments to the changing facilities during this period.
Local facilities like this one can always use poster printing to advertise what they have to offer within Basingstoke and other parts of the district.
