Refresh Festival announces more stars

The brand new festival celebrating fitness and health later this year, Refresh, has now added several more stars to the list of those who will be in attendance.

The children’s television character Mr. Bloom, the author of a popular health blog Danielle Vanier, top-selling writer Clean Eating Alice and former Olympian Dame Kelly Holmes are among those who will be there.

This festival will be the first event of its kind to hit the Basingstoke area and will see notable names from the fitness, health and well-being industries joining forces to offer trials of new products, workshops and other activities.

Dame Kelly Holmes has committed to overseeing a sports day for local children, while the likes of free running and karate will be demonstrated within the designated show arena. Refresh will be held not far from Basingstoke, in Wellington Country Park, on the 2nd and 3rd September.

Holmes told the Basingstoke Gazette:

“Getting the future generation passionate about sport, health and fitness is so important and I hope the thousands of children who take part in Refresh Festival will have the seeds of enthusiasm planted in their active minds.”

Those putting together local events, such as this one, always have the option of turning to places offering poster printing to help them ensure that the events are properly promoted.
