The developer behind these Plans is Paris Smith and it Plans to convert St Pancras House, located in Jacobs Yard, into 20 new flats. All of these new residential apartments would be single bedroom and the chosen location would put them within easy reach of the town centre.
The proposals submitted to the local council indicate that six of these flats would be built where the current car park is, while the remaining 14 would be built on the first two floors.
The Plans also state that a number of alterations, which would include adding new windows and replacing some of the existing ones, would form part of a second application to be submitted in the future.
The main application goes on to add that:
“The existing windows comprise coloured metal windows. The proposed grey-coloured uPVC windows will have a subdued and low-key appearance but will fit with the design of the building and help to visually ‘lift’ its external appearance in the street scene.”
