Mango is a major brand name in the clothing sector and has its base in Spain. Now the company has announced that it has chosen Basingstoke as the location for its latest store. It is set to move into a vacant unit within the Festival Place shopping centre, with the unit in question having previously been home to Topshop.
This is just part of the company’s Plans for expansion, which will see no fewer than 20 new Mango stores open up across the country. Mango is noted for clothing based on Mediterranean styles.
When new stores first open in Basingstoke, they need to advertise to let local people know when and where they can find them. Poster printing in the town is one way that they can do this.
The Centre Director for Festival Place is Vicky Hickson. Speaking to the Basingstoke Gazette, she said:
“This is extremely exciting news for FP. Since the sale of FP earlier this year, it’s been part of our strategy to build our fashion offering and Mango is a fantastic start!”
An exact opening date for the store is still to be made public, but it will be sometime this year.
