One of the most successful and iconic British comedy shows of all time is returning for a special anniversary live tour this year, and Basingstoke has been announced as one of the dates on it.
The Fast Show was one of the UK television hits of the 1990s. It first appeared on our screens back in 1994, which makes this year its 30th anniversary. That has led its creators and stars to get together again for a live show that will bring back most of its beloved characters, sketches and catchphrases.
Among those who became household names as a result of The Fast Show are Paul Whitehouse, Charlie Higson, Arabella Weir, Mark Williams and Simon Day. They will all be participating in the reunion tour, and have promised that all the main characters will feature as part of it.
Some of those creations – such as Ted and Ralph – have gone down in British comedy history, so this show is likely to sell out quickly. The venue for the Basingstoke performance will be The Anvil, and places like that can use poster printing from local Print shops to help advertise upcoming shows in advance.
The 30th anniversary tour of The Fast Show is scheduled to run for 13 dates during the early part of the spring.
