This event will see 15 different national shows put on throughout the town, with outdoor locations such as parks and streets in Basingstoke serving as the venues for them. Alongside these stage shows, there will also be impromptu street theatre, circus and dance performances taking place at various locations around town that local people can actually get involved in.

The Basingstoke Festival 2023 will get underway with a special parade of community performers and youngsters through the heart of the town. Over 500 are expected to take part; its theme will be ‘Flourish – being the best you can be’. The Fluid Motion Theatre Company is putting this parade together.
Speaking to the Basingstoke Gazette, Simon Minas-Bound from the council said:
“This will be another event that proves Basingstoke and Deane is a great place to live and visit.”
