Corporate event in Basingstoke postponed

A major business conference that is held each year in Basingstoke has had its date pushed forward to late autumn by Hampshire Chamber of Commerce, although the location will remain the same.

Basingstoke Business Matters is the biggest corporate conference in the area and sees experts from a range of business sectors give talks. The 2022 conference is due to focus on such matters as securing financing through grants, the health and wellbeing of employees, how to move towards sustainable energy sources and improving the skills of workforces.

The original date for this conference to be held was September 29th, but Hampshire Chamber of Commerce has confirmed that it will now happen towards the end of the autumn instead. Despite the postponement, the venue for it is still set to be the Apollo Hotel.

Businesspeople who are planning to attend this conference can look to shops in Basingstoke that are capable of supplying printed Business Cards if they plan to network while they are there.
Speaking to the Basingstoke Gazette, the conference joint host Barry Smith said:

“This event is an ideal opportunity for people in small and medium-sized businesses to network with like-minded peers and receive informed advice from key decision makers who can help them with their operations and strategies.”

The conference will feature writer Ben Kench as guest speaker and take place on November 8th.
