The show, organised by Basingstoke Deane Rotary Club, will take place during January, marking the ninth year in a row that it has been held, with The Anvil set to serve as the venue. All of the money that is raised will be donated to the club’s chosen charities, including Ark Cancer Centre Charity and Help for Heroes.
It has already been confirmed that Her Majesty’s Royal Marines Band will perform at the concert, having been an enormous hit with audiences in Basingstoke when they played there earlier this year. The Chelsea Pensioners and the Royal Corps of Drums will join them to complete a line-up that celebrates Britishness.
One of the trustees for Ark, Merv Rees, told the Basingstoke Observer that:
“I am very grateful to the Basingstoke Deane Rotarians for choosing Ark Cancer Centre Charity as one of the local good causes that will benefit from the 2017 concert.”
He added that the support from this organisation was invaluable to the charity. The concert will take place on the 29th January 2017.
Events like this often use leaflet printers when it comes to promoting and advertising them to local people.
