One of the finest blues guitar players in the world will be coming to Basingstoke during the summer, to perform a special intimate live concert at a local venue.
Joe Bonamassa has had a long and spectacular career that includes 26 albums that have reached the top of the Billboard Blues Albums Chart. He is the only musician ever to achieve that feat.
Bonamassa has also been nominated for GRAMMY awards on three occasions and has won four Blues Music Awards.
Alongside his solo career, he is also a member of a supergroup called Black Country Communion. That band will be releasing a new album during June, while Bonamassa’s latest solo record also comes out during the month.
He is scheduled to play a number of shows to support the releases. They will include an appearance at the Black Deer Festival and two Royal Albert Hall performances that have already sold out. Then he will come to Basingstoke, with The Anvil serving as the venue for that show.
