Wine Escape is being called the first escape room event that truly fully immersive ever to hit the UK. The setting for the fun and games is the luxurious Hawker Wine Estate and participants are expected to get dressed up in their finest 1920s outfits, to help create the period feel.
The storyline for Wine Escape revolves around a party held by the Von James family, which goes spectacularly wrong, leaving the guests seeking ways of getting out of the estate with their lives.
According to the Basingstoke Gazette, it is said to be an:
“immersive dining experience, combining the thrill of a night at the theatre with escape room style games”.
The real-life venue for it will be Audleys Wood Hotel on Alton Road.
