Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council is stating that this year’s festival will be the largest yet, with the chosen theme being ‘Bounce Back, Learn and Grow’. It is being put together with the support of corporate organisations Business South and Evolve and will feature a variety of events for both bosses and staff members.
Those attending the 2022 Basingstoke Business Festival will have the chance to hear speakers, get valuable advice and take part in networking. The underlying theme of the festival will be how local firms can get back on track after the pandemic, which connects it to the wider Economic Recovery Framework set out by the council. There will be workshops and speeches exploring topics like environmental awareness and hybrid working.
Speaking to the Basingstoke Gazette, Cllr Simon Bound said:
“We are delighted to be working with Evolve and Business South to host this dedicated festival to bring businesses together and to give them the tools and skills they need to develop in the future and continue to thrive in the borough.”
The event will take place from 16th to 23rd June.
