An award-winning singer and broadcaster who specialises in jazz music will be coming to a venue in Basingstoke during the early autumn, for a live concert.
Clare Teal hosts shows on both Jazz FM and Radio 2, which have made her a household name among music lovers. However, she also performs as the vocalist with a live jazz band and that is why she will be visiting Basingstoke later this year. This concert will see her perform songs taken from the successful DVD she released called The Fireside Sessions, as well as tunes from the Great British and American songbooks.
The venue for it will be the Haymarket Theatre, on Wote Street and it will be a must-see for anyone in the town who loves jazz singing. Teal is regarded as one of the best singers of this music in the UK and she is backed by top-notch musicians.
It is likely that there will be a lot of demand for tickets for the show, given how well known both she and the songs are. However, venues often use flyer printing from local shops to help get the word out to people about concerts they may like.
Anyone who attends this show can expect classic tunes coupled with the amusing between-song banter that Teal is known for. It is set to take place on 21st September.
