Chester Zoo has joined forces with the Manchester Evening News to issue a free copy of a dinosaur poster to its readers, celebrating a new exhibition at the Zoo.
A new exhibition at one of the UK's best-loved animal parks, Chester Zoo, has opened this summer, featuring actual-sized models of dinosaurs. The exhibition is called Dinosaurs Bite Back and features 19 mechanical versions of dinosaurs that dominated our planet around 200 million years ago.
To commemorate the opening of Dinosaurs Bite Back, the local newspaper for the Manchester region, the Manchester Evening News, has printed a giant dinosaur poster that will be given away with each copy of the paper on the 11th August.
Souvenir Posters are often used to promote events like the dinosaur exhibition, because the recipients of the Posters – or in this case, children of the person reading the paper – are likely to see the poster and be inclined to want to visit the exhibition advertised. The Dinosaurs Bite Back poster is an example of how promotional campaigns can be run using souvenir poster printing.
Altrincham, Cheshire and the Greater Manchester region are home to a number of potential visitors that are likely to go to Dinosaurs Bite Back due to their proximity to Chester Zoo.
The Dinosaurs Bite Back exhibition runs until November 2012 at Chester Zoo and features replicas of some of the most well-known species of dinosaur, including the notorious Tyrannosaurus Rex, Stegosaurus and Brachiosaurus.Get a Free Quote for Posters
