An Altrincham venue is throwing a party in honour of this year’s edition of a famous European music competition and is inviting guests to come in costume.
Eurovision enthusiasts in Altrincham can celebrate the 2026 song contest in style this spring. An event called the “Fancy Dress Eurovision Song Contest Party” is taking place at a café and bar in town that urges attendees to come costumed as one of the music event’s past winners like Bucks Fizz, Abba and Johnny Logan.
Bars, cafes and other eating and drinking establishments often rely on professional Print shops for branded Menus that lists the food and beverages they offer.
Those joining the springtime event can dance and sing along to Eurovision classics until late after watching the famous song showdown with their fellow revellers. Founded in 1956 following WWII to unite nations, The Eurovision Song Contest is the longest-running yearly TV music competition in the world and is organised by the European Broadcasting Union.
The Fancy Dress Eurovision Song Contest Party will now be held at the EZ Bar and Café on Saturday, May 16. The party will kick off at 8 pm and ends at 11 pm and the venue is easy to spot on Viaduct Road in Altrincham.
Tickets for the in-person event are priced at £8.30 and include a welcome glass of bubbles.
