A festival that is dedicated to British music throughout the decades will be coming to Altrincham in the summer of next year.
Brit Fest is an independent music festival that is growing rapidly in popularity. It features line-ups that satisfy both nostalgia fans and those who want to hear the latest sounds from up-and-coming UK artists. Many of those who will make up the bill in 2027 have already been announced and they include some major names.
Next year the event is being stretched out to four days, and the headline act for the first night will be Symphonic Ibiza. This puts live singers and DJs alongside an orchestra, creating a unique musical fusion. The Friday night headliners will be Britpop legends Ocean Colour Scene.
Bros vocalist Matt Goss tops the bill on Saturday, with former Soft Cell star Marc Almond closing the event on Sunday. Other artists who will appear include Toyah, Haircut 100 and Lightning Seeds.
Posters can be a good way for the organisers of local festivals to promote them. Altrincham has poster printing outlets to help with that.
The venue for Brit Fest 2027 is set to be Ashley Hall Showground and the hosts will be Mike Toolan and Jenny Powell. In addition to the established names, there will be a stage for new artists.
It will take place between 15th and 18th July 2027.
