A three-day long event is coming to Altrincham, with headline acts representing a diverse range of musical genres.
The Hale Barns Carnival is making a welcome return to Altrincham this summer with different styles of music from acclaimed artists featured on each day. Major outdoor events like carnivals, festivals and fairs often use banner printing services to create durable largescale signage that can cope with unpredictable British weather.
The first day of the July event, the Friday, will see Russell Watson take the stage. Often referred to as Salford’s own Pavarotti, Watson rose from humble origins playing working men’s clubs and pubs to winning Classical Brit awards and performing at international stadiums and for then Pope.
On Saturday, disco duo The Real Thing will perform, bringing the sounds of the 70s and 80s to Altrincham. Backed by a full band, brothers Dave and Chris Smith will play a tribute to biggest hits of the dance era, along with original tracks from their songbook.
Finally, the ‘soul diva of Rose Royce’, Gwen Dickey, will appear to serenade attendees with famous songs like Wishing on A Star, Love Don’t Live Here Anymore and Car Wash.
The Hale Barns Carnival will take place on the playing fields at St Ambrose College on Hale Road, Hale Barns, Altrincham from Friday, July 15 to Sunday, July 17.
