Town of Oakville seeks input about hospital land in public meeting

The town of Oakville is calling upon local residents to help decide the fate of the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial hospital lands. The hospital will vacate the current plot of land and move to Third Line and Dundas Street by 2015. An alternative development for the land and draft options are still to be decided, with the public being called to participate in the process.

The town requires public input on what should be done with the current plot situated at 327 Reynolds Street and is a follow up to an earlier workshop. A design workshop will be held on March 1st at 7pm to draft options for the redevelopment of the plot of land. The meeting will take place in the council chambers of Town Hall of Oakville and will begin with a presentation, followed by the follow up workshop itself.

Interested residents are asked to register their attendance by February 27th at Town Hall to participate in this important public decision.

The redevelopment of the area offers yet another way for local printers to provide valuable services to their communities. Once drafts are completed and proposals have been approved and accepted, Print companies create banner printing over the site area to advise the public about proposals for the future developments in place on the Hospital grounds.

Print companies in the Oakville area can also Print flyer printings and leaflet printing inserts in Halton region newspapers highlighting the nature of the development and changes for land use in the future.
