The Great Canadian Chocolate Affair will be coming to Oakville this month, aiming to provide something for everyone’s sweet tooth.
The Chocolate Affair will include a selection of vendors and artisans involved at all stages of the chocolate production, from bean to bar, as well as complementary food pairings. Visitors can sample local artisanal chocolates, drinks and find rare or upcoming sweets. Confirmed vendors include Centre & Main Chocolate Co, Elora Coffee Roasters and The Summer Wind Catering Company.
Visitors can also sign up for special sessions to better learn about and appreciate chocolate. These lessons include pairing chocolate and wine, the healthy side of craft chocolate and a curated chocolate tasting, each led by an expert and supported by volunteers. Participating experts include certified Level 3 chocolate taster Christy Conte and food journalist Mary Luz Meija.
The day will end with an exclusive 19+ “whiskey night”, which will also include chocolate pairings with local Canadian craft whiskey at the Cask & Cacao Lounge. The affair will provide each visitor with an Event Guide to help navigate the over 50 vendors. Food and other commercial events often use brochure printing to produce such guides to help advertise the vendors and better guide visitors through the space.
The 2026 Great Canadian Chocolate Affair will take place at the Oakville Conference Centre on February 28.
