One of Oakville’s biggest festivals, Kerrfest, will be celebrating its 10th anniversary this September as it kicks off fall.
The show will feature two days of music, headlined by area musical icons Colin James and The Jim Cuddy Band on separate nights. Other performers include The Redhill Valleys, Lenny Gallant and Hotel California: The Original Eagles Tribute. Lawn chairs are allowed for those wanting to sit and take in the music.
Sunday will be Kerrfest Kids, with entertainment aimed at children and families, headlined by The DNAs, Cosima Grunsky and Mystic Drumz. Children can pet exotic animals, play games like Top Shot Hockey Net and get their face painted. There will also be roaming characters, and children can meet and greet their favourite cartoons.
The festival grounds will also include local food vendors and booths by local sponsors. Food vendors will include La Dolce Vita gelato and Boffo’s Fine Foods, offering mac and cheese and other kid favourites, while Film.ca’s booth will provide free popcorn. Beer and wine vendors will be available across the weekend for the grown-ups. Exhibitors at events like this often use brochure printing to provide take-home Menus or other information.
The 2026 edition of Kerrfest will take place from September 11 to 13 at Westwood Park in Oakville. Admission is free for children 11 and under.
