The festival will feature a food area focused on “salty and sweet” refreshments and Latin classics like tacos and burritos. There will also be artisans and entrepreneurs offering artwork, gift items, and more. Vendors at cultural festivals like this often use special sales or Promotional Products to help reach new customers and celebrate the moment.
The main stage will feature musicians and other performers from the Oakville community, representing Latin styles like salsa and mariachi as well as modern music. There will also be a “Kids Zone” with family-friendly activities and performers. The Latino Festival’s website says that its vision is:
“to make the Latino culture, rich in diversity, joy and emotion, part of our daily life and emotionality, become part of our daily life in Canada.”
The Festival first took place in 2022 and has been held annually since then, typically attracting thousands of visitors. Past editions have included dance performances, Zumba, and educational exhibits. The event is hosted with the support of individual volunteers, local sponsors, and the governments of Ontario and Halton Region.
The 2026 edition of Oakville Latino Festival will take place from July 24 to 26 at Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park. Admission will be free to all.
