The community event will feature live music and vendors. Local band Silmaril will be performing rock hits from the 1970s, with attendance members invited to bring a blanket or lawn chair to watch and sing along. The market area will feature local artisans, food trucks and commercial vendors from throughout Oakville and beyond.
Summer in the Square will be raising money for the Humane Society of Oakville, Milton and Halton through selling raffle tickets. Raffle winners will receive prizes such as restaurant vouchers and gift baskets from local businesses. Proceeds will go towards the Humane Society’s efforts to house and support animals in the Halton region. Attendees are welcome to bring their pets to the event.
The event is hosted by Every Avenue, a real estate company in the Oakville area, with the support of other local businesses and organizations. Community events like this often use banner printing and signage to recognize sponsors and other contributors. Advertising emphasizes the inclusive nature of the gathering, encouraging locals to:
“Bring the whole family, grab something from a local vendor, and enjoy a warm summer night filled with live music, great people, and good vibes.”
The 2026 edition of Summer in the Square will take place at Towne Square in Oakville on June 4.
