Oakville residents who wish to have a say in the future of their community’s downtown area are invited to come out to an upcoming gathering.
Those who attend the special meeting will be asked for their input into what they would like to see happen with the Downtown Cultural Hub. The town developed its Downtown Plan back in 2013, and since then efforts have been made to ensure that the needs, concerns, and wants of the people who will be using the area, as well as the business owners who will be serving them, are being taken into consideration.
Oakville officials have compiled all of their ideas and have used them to create three different plans of action, which will be presented to the public at the meeting. A printing company can make this easy by preparing bound Copies of the initiatives, which can be distributed to those in attendance. They can even be made available beforehand, so that those who come will have had a chance to read it and be prepared to discuss the contents.
According to town staff, input from residents is a crucial piece of the overall plan.
The meeting will take place on June 24th at the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts, which is located at 130 Navy Street. Further information can be obtained by visiting the town of Oakville’s website.Get a Free Quote for Copies
