Oakville to host craft fair
The Hand Made Craft Market will be returning to Oakville this October.
The show will feature an outdoor market place of local artisans and vendors, with items including traditional crafts like crochet, jewelry and pottery, as well as metal and tin forged items. There will also be sellers offering supplies, tools and accessories for popular crafting hobbies like knitting, sewing and embroidery. Last year’s event featured over 35 vendors in attendance.
The Hand Made Craft Market will take place in scenic Bronte Creek Provincial Park, with an Ontario Parks Vehicle permit required to access the market by car. The market will also feature the Friends Cafe, providing attendees with hot and cold beverages, as well as sweet snacks. Vendors will accept cash and e-transfer, and visitors are encouraged to bring re-usable shopping bags with them.
The market is hosted annually by the Friends of Bronte Creek organization, which regularly hosts events in and around the park to showcase natural environments. Artisan markets like this are often popular shopping destinations, with exhibitors sometimes offering special promotional products or savings to celebrate the occasion and attract new customers. The event aims to welcome families, including dogs in outdoor areas.
The 2025 Hand Made Craft Market will take place at Bronte Creek Park in Oakville on the morning and afternoon of Saturday, October 4.
