The 34th annual Small Business Week is set to take place in October, with the Oakville Chamber of Commerce organizing a number of its own related events.
The first will be a kick-off breakfast on October 21, featuring keynote speaker John Peller of Andrew Peller Limited. It is expected to be an excellent networking opportunity for all Oakville businesspersons.
The next event will be the Business After Hours and Tradeshow on October 23 from 5:00-8:00pm. Business owners will have the opportunity to showcase their products and services to their peers. There will also be a reception and a 50/50 draw.
The last Small Business Week event will take place on October 25. The LinkedIn Lunch and Learn will give those attending a short lesson on the use of social networking tools. The lunch will feature Laura Mason from LinkedIn and Husam Jandal from WSI.
The Chamber will most likely be working with Oakville printing companies to advertise these upcoming events to those in the community.
The breakfast will take place at the Holiday Inn, Oakville Centre from 7:30-9:00am on October 21. Tickets are $25 for Oakville Chamber of Commerce members and $40 for non-members.
The Business After Hours and Tradeshow event will be held at the LeDome Banquet Hall. Admission is free.
The LinkedIn Lunch and Learn will also take place at the Holiday Inn. Tickets are $35 for Chamber members and $45 for non-members. For information about any of the events, contact Carina Cicero at 905-845-6613 x205.
