Oakvilles Summer Camp Fair set to mark its 30th year

Oakville families show are making their summer plans may wish to mark their Calendars for an event that will showcase both day and residential camps from across the province, all under one roof.

This year will be the 30th anniversary of the Summer Camp Fair, and it will give parents and kids alike a chance to learn more about the different options that are available to them. There will be displays set up that showcase what each choice has to offer, so the attendees can find the one that is the best fit for their son or daughter. They will be able to gather information, ask questions and find out the cost for the various choices, which can help in building their summer budget.

The fair is being held in New Central Public School, and it will begin at 6:00 pm. The whole family is welcome to come, and no admission will be charged to participate. Those who come out will be able to have their name entered in a draw to win a $500.00 camp credit which they can us to help meet the cost of registration. A Print company will be able to provide sign printing and other services for this type of public event.

January 18th has been chosen as the date for this one stop shopping style camp fair. It will be held in the New Central Public School’s gymnasium, which is located at 133 Balsam Drive in Oakville.
