Residents from Oakville and the surrounding communities are being invited to take part in an event designed to raise money for, and awareness of, a form of skin cancer that can largely be avoided.
This will be the fourth year for the Tee Off for Melanoma Awareness golf tournament, which will be held at the Glen Abbey Golf Club.
Participants can register on their own or as part of a foursome, and those who wish to lend their support but not play a round are invited to enjoy a lunch and cocktail at the clubhouse, where a guest speaker will give a talk.
Along with the food, there will be a chance to see how sunscreen can protect against skin damage, a silent auction, and a presentation of awards. A Stationery printer will be able to create award certificates and any other promotional items that can help to make such an event a big success.
The event is set to take place on May 21st, with registration beginning at 6:45am and play scheduled for 7:45am. Those who will only be taking part in the lunch can register starting at 12:30pm.
Anyone who is not able to participate but would still like to contribute is invited to do so by donating online through the Melanoma Network of Canada’s website.Get a Free Quote for Stationery
