Oakville stylist one of the top in North America

A stylist from Oakville’s Sport Clips Haircuts has proven to be among the best on the continent.

Nicole Parker has moved into the top spot in the Canada-wide The Look competition. The contest is held each year, and sees more than 20 hair cutters from all across the country compete.

After earning her place amongst the finalists, she will travel to Los Vegas in May where she will have a chance to show off her talents along with five others who also work for the same barbering franchise.

Parker, who has been cutting hair for more than 14 years, noted that she was very excited and proud to have done so well. Receiving such an accolade may well be something she can have a business card printing firm put on her Business Cards.

For the contest, she had to give a model a transformative hairstyle, and submit both before and after pictures to those who were judging the competition. There was a time limit of just 20 minutes in which she could complete he work.

For the Las Vegas stage of the event, she will be performing her styling in front of over 5,000 people. She remarked that she is a bit nervous, but willing to take on the challenge. She will be the only Canadian to have reached that level.
