Spring is here, and Oakville residents are invited to celebrate with a special event.
‘Swing into Spring’ will see of host of activities that have been planned with families in mind. The day will kick off with a pancake breakfast, then there will be a market and garage sale, treats for the kids, and more to keep everybody entertained.
The public is invited to set up a table from which they can sell items they either no longer need or have made themselves. Small businesses are also welcome. The first 15 to register to take part will be given a table, while those who sign up later will need to bring one of their own.
The price for a spot for community members is $30, and for businesses, it is $50. Poster printing can be used to create a variety of materials to promote events like this throughout the local community and further afield as well.
Donations of gently used children’s items that can be sold to raise funds for the Oak Park Neighborhood Centre are also appreciated. They can be dropped off at the centre from May 6 until 13.
Swing into Spring will take place on May 14th from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm at the Oak Park Neighborhood Centre. It is located at 2200 Sawgrass Drive in Oakville, and further details are available on the event’s website.
