Many of the programs are advertised both on poster printing throughout the library, on printed event Calendars in the library lobby and are also listed on the library website.

While kids can enjoy favourites like Adventures Unplugged I, Cartooning for Kids, Crafty Kids and the LEGO Robotics Program, adults can celebrate the best of 2012 with programs like Niagara Wine and Theatre with Jackie Maxwell and other adult events that include appetizers.

Family events are also advertised at the Oakville library.
The public library is also a wonderful source of printed materials and programs for the entire community. In addition to book clubs that support the reading of printed material, patrons can search and find information about history and genealogy.
