Foodies gearing up for Oakville Taste event

Oakville Taste is set to take place this weekend. This annual event gives local restaurants, caterers, wineries, breweries, bakeries, and distilleries the opportunity to showcase what they have to offer. It should appeal to those who consider themselves to be foodies and those who just love to eat.

In addition to enjoying samples of some of the finest food and drink in the city, guests will be treated to musical and art performances, raffles, and a silent auction. Proceeds from the event will go to Art for All, which provides art classes and camps to less-fortunate children in the area.

Oakville Taste will be a great opportunity for the general public to discover a new restaurant or a new caterer in the area. It will also be a good way for those in the food industry who are just starting out to be able to share their food.

The 4th annual Oakville Taste event will take place at the Oakville Galleries in Gairloch Gardens on Sunday from 3:00 - 7:00pm. Tickets are $85 for adults, $30 for children and $650 for parties of 10.
