The Company of Women is an organization based in Oakville which is dedicated to helping women in business succeed. It is an excellent way for business women and female entrepreneurs to connect with their peers. Local firms that provide flyer and business card printing have provided the membership directory in catalogue form, which lists every member of the organization and is provided to every member.

The Company of Women was founded in 2001 by Anne Day as a way to "connect women - professionally, personally, profoundly." The organization holds several events throughout the year including breakfast and dinner networking meetings. Company of Women also takes part in women's charity events and social events such as golf and theatre outings. The organization is a supporter of Opportunity International which provides interest free loan to women in business worldwide.

Company of Women 101 will take place on September 1 from 9-10 am at Quality Suites in Oakville. This event will describe in detail exactly what the organization does and the types of services offered by members. This event will be free to members and $10 for prospective members.

There are 5 types of membership available in the Company of Women; Individual for $250, Partnership which includes 2 people from the same company costs $325, Social which is aimed at those who have retired or are between businesses costs $110, Online which gives the member access to everything on the website costs $95 and Corporate which allows membership to up to 4 people in the same company costs $500.
