The 6th Environmental Awareness Day is taking place in Oakville this July. It is a hosted by several organizations, including the Oakville Chamber of Commerce, the Halton Environmental Network, Connect Us, and Tim Hortons.
Volunteers are encouraged to take part in a community clean up beginning at noon; participants will receive a free t-shirt, and will be provided with rubber gloves and garbage Bags. Prior to that, there will be a free barbecue and Timbits, live entertainment, and exhibits from local green companies and organizations. There will also be electronics recycling, lots of giveaways, raffles, and plenty of children's activities.
Proceedings from the raffle and from donations collected at the event will be given to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Halton.
Exhibitors who plan to take part in the day will likely be handing out printed literature and free promotional items to those who stop by their booths. When such items are needed by business or community organizations, they usually turn to Oakville printing companies for help. Promotional Products are inexpensive to produce, but can bring significant returns to those who invest in them.
The Environmental Awareness Day will be held at the Oakville GO Station on July 5th, from 11:00am to 2:00pm. All events are free. To learn more about this day, contact Carina Cicero at 905-845-6613 x205.Get a Free Quote for Promotional Products Get a Free Quote for Bags
