Car lovers in Burlington are gearing up for two days of motoring fun with a selection of activities taking place in the area.
A street festival, road rally and the 2nd annual Marques d'Elegance Exotic Car Show are all happening this weekend, with proceeds going to support the Carpenter Hospice and Autism Ontario.
The street festival and road rally will take place at Lakeshore Rd & Brant Streets on Saturday. It will feature live music, beer and wine gardens, test driving opportunities, and food concessions.
Later that evening, guests can attend An Evening of Luxury, where they will be able to marvel at a range of exotic cars while enjoying gourmet appetizers and champagne. Silent auctions will also be taking place, with all women attending set to receive a free gift.
On Sunday, the Marques d'Elegance Exotic Car Show will present a fashion showcase alongside jewelry displays, food vendors, and an awards ceremony.
These events are sure to attract car enthusiasts from towns across the region, including nearby Oakville. Printing companies have likely been hired to help by providing marketing materials such as Flyers and Brochures.
The Street Fest and Road Rally will take place on August 24 beginning at 8:00am. Admission is $2. An Evening of Luxury will be held at the Burlington Performing Arts Center. Tickets for this will cost $150 per person.
The Exotic Car Show will be at Paletta Lakefront Park and Mansion on August 25. Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for those aged 13 to 16 and free for children 12 and under.
