The Oakville Chamber of Commerce's golf tournament is to take place in the area next month.
Now that the weather is warming up, many organizations are holding their annual tournaments. The Oakville Chamber's tournament will be held at historic Glen Abbey, which has, in the past, been the setting for several major tournaments.
The tournament will give players the option to register as single players or as a foursome. Fees will include lunch, dinner, a cocktail reception and raffle tickets. Dinner will also feature a silent auction and an awards ceremony. All those attending will also receive a gift bag. Sponsorships are also available; companies that register as a corporate foursome are allowed to place a sign on the green.
Golf tournaments are an excellent networking opportunity for all involved. Business peers get to briefly exchange Business Cards over a friendly round of golf and during dinner. No doubt many who are planning to attend the Oakville tournament will be placing a new business card printing order in advance to insure their contact information is up to date.
The Oakville Chamber of Commerce golf tournament will take place on May 22 from 10:00am - 8:00pm. Fees are $345 for individual chamber members or $445 for non-members. Non-corporate fees are $1,380 per foursome for members or $1,580 for non-member groups. Corporate fees, which include signage, are $1,580 for members and $2,080 for non-members.
