The 19th Oakville Awards for Business Excellence gala dinner is taking place in the city this March. This annual event is hosted by the Oakville Chamber of Commerce.
Guests can enjoy a cocktail reception, followed by dinner and the awards presentations. There are seven awards up for grabs during the evening: Small, Medium and Large Business of the Year; Community Builder; Professional Services Provider; Restaurateur; and Entrepreneur. A number of nominees have been chosen in each category.
As with all business awards, this event will be a great networking opportunity for all of those who choose to attend. It will involve the handing out of Business Cards and possibly each person having the chance to deliver their "elevator" speech over dinner. No doubt, since they are the most important tool, quite a few of those businesspersons who plan to attend will be checking in advance to see if they have enough cards to exchange with their peers and that their contact information is correct and up to date. Oakville Stationery printers are often asked to provide Business Cards to local companies.
The Oakville Awards for Business Excellence dinner will be held at the Oakville Conference Centre on March 27 from 5:30 - 9:00 PM. Tickets are $125 each or $87.50 for award nominees.
