The “Golf to Give” charity golf tournament is taking place next month in Milton. It is a fundraiser for the Oakville Rotary Club.
Registration is $155 per player until August 20 and $165 after. Fees will cover 18 holes of golf, the use of a golf cart, lunch and dinner; there will also be
beverage carts on the golf course. Prizes will be handed out at the dinner for contests such as lowest score and most honest golfers. There will also be a variety of door prizes given out, a 50/50 draw and a silent auction.
The game will have a shotgun start at 12:00 PM after registration closes and lunch is served. Dinner will take place from 5:00 to 6:00 PM.
The Oakville Rotary Club raises fund to help various local charities through a number of public events. They also run a speaker series and organize a tree planting every year.
This event will likely attract plenty of business leaders from all over the area including Milton. Most of those leaders will likely be bringing along their Business Cards to exchange with their fellow golfers.
The “Golf to Give” golf tournament will be held at Turtle Creek Golf Club in Milton on September 17 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. For more information, visit the Oakville Rotary Club’s website.
