Milton’s Five Star Ranch will hold its fourth annual Multi-Family Charity Garage Sale this May, raising funds for a good cause while helping used items find a new home.
The Sale will include tables from multiple households and vendors, offering gently used item such as clothes, Books, toys and more. Donors without enough items for a full table or who can’t stay long can also contribute to the Charity Table, where volunteers will sell them throughout the day. Volunteers will come from the community, including students receiving hours towards their diploma. Items should be clean and in good condition.
All proceeds from the Community Housing will go towards Milton Transitional Housing, which provides support for women and children in need. Last year’s sale raised over $1500 for Halton Women’s Place. All leftover items will be sold to a local organization, with the funds also going towards the charitable.
The Yard Sale will be hosted indoors and in a covered area to protect from potential inclement weather. There will also be barbecue and food booths on the premises to create a festive atmosphere. Charitable events like this one often use brochure printing or signage to help identify the cause and encourage donors, purchasers and volunteers.
The 2026 Multi-Family Community Garage Sale will take place at the Five Star Ranch Retreat and Guesthouse in Milton on May 30.
