The Downtown Milton Street Festival will be taking place on the first Saturday of next month. The event is presented by the Town of Milton and the Downtown Milton Business Improvement Area.
The festival has been named one of the top 100 festivals and events in the province of Ontario. There will be activities taking place all day long that are sure to please people of all ages.
There will be entertainment provided on three stages. Some of the groups that are slated to appear are Weigh the Anchor, Whisky Dust, My Son the Hurricane, Fiddlestix and The Decent Blokes. Other performers will include the Milton Chinese Arts Society, the Academy of Music student ensembles and Milton Rhythmic Gymnastics.
Vendors will be on hand to sell arts and crafts and general merchandise, and the Food Truck Zone will feature a variety of cuisine for sale. There will also be a Kids Zone with bouncy castles, bungee runs and obstacle courses.
This popular festival attracts approximately 90,000 visitors to Milton each year. To help spread the word about such events, local Stationery printers often provide items such as Flyers and Posters that can be easily distributed.
