Summit brings logistics professionals together

The World Class Supply Chain Summit is taking place next month in Milton.

A presentation of the Lazardis School of Business and Economics and the Milton Chamber of Commerce, the event is aimed at professionals who work in the logistics and supply chain sector.

The day will start off with a breakfast and a welcome from Teresa Fujarczuk, formerly of the Milton Chamber of Commerce. It will be followed by two keynote speeches from Steve Raetz from C. H. Robinson (about industry) and Dr. Thomas J. Goldsby of Ohio State University’s Fisher College (about education).

During the day, there will also be two presentations from doctoral students and two presentations each from masters and undergraduate students. In addition, there will be a panel discussion moderated by Scott Ensign and featuring Laura Allen from Lazardis School of Business and Professor David Roach of Dalhousie University.

Attendees will also receive lunch and will be treated to a networking reception at the end of the day.

Milton Print shops are often asked to provide the printed materials that may be handed out at events like this.

The World Class Supply Chain Summit will be held at Granite Ridge Golf Club on May 9 from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Admission is free but guests must preregister. Visit the event website for the most current information.
