One of Milton’s biggest events, the Sounds of Summer Sidewalk Sale, will return this August.
The event will offer a special shopping experience in addition to performances by local musicians. Businesses who will participate in the sale include Aiden N Co clothing store, Bauhoud Haus toys, and Ontario burger chain, The Work.
Some businesses will offer coupons and discounts, such as Mill Street Paint which will be offering 15% off, and The Shoe Shop which will have a deal to buy one item and get one 30% off. In addition to sales, businesses also make use of tools like flyer printing and promotional Pens at events like this to leave an impression with passers-by.
The Sidewalk Sale will also offer family entertainment and activities. Visitors will be able to enter a scavenger hunt, tasking them with finding items at various stores and locations. Complete entries will be entered in a raffle for prizes, including a $100 gift certificate for any Downtown Milton BIA business. The musical performances will be artists associated with the Rick Imus Music Studio, Acoustic Blend Café, and House of Chords.
