The Milton Rib & Beer Festival will be returning this July, with new vendors and entertainers, and a revamped kids’ zone.
The summer festival offers a variety of rib and other food vendors, in addition to a beer market sponsored by Molson, offering craft beer and cocktails as well as domestic beer. There will be ribs from a variety of barbecuers, with attendees voting for the best.
The festival is part of the Northern Heat Ribfest series, which holds similar events around Southern Ontario. Popular vendors on the series include The Bark’n Bakery Toronto, Henna by Mehdiya and Sweet Treat Factory.
There will also be a variety of musical acts available throughout the weekend. Friday is Country Night, headlined by the John Attlee Band, with Saturday’s Rock the Park show featuring Transistor Radio Group and Sunday being dedicated to Mash-Up Hits headlined by Pearl Jamming. This year’s festival will also feature a new family zone with special activities, as well as live entertainment from Pirate Life, performing catchy sea shanties, and the Canine Circus crew recently featured on Canada’s Got Talent.
Food festivals such as this, usually advertised through flyer printing and local media, often also provide live entertainment and other vendors to draw people in.
The 2023 edition of Milton Rib & Beer Festival will take place from July 28 to 30 at the Community Sports Park.
