An upcoming event planed for Milton will give the public an opportunity to do their bit for identity protection while supporting a local not-for-profit group.
The Halton Crimestoppers will be accepting documents and other paperwork for shredding during its Spring Shred. This will help to ensure that they do not fall into the wrong hands. Whether I i’s only a few personal papers or several large Boxes of documents from either private individuals or businesses that need to be securely destroyed, all will be accepted. The cost for a shopping bag size of papers is $5, while for a banker’s box sized container, it is $10 and $15 for a large box.
It will run until 3:00 pm. The funds raised through the day will be used to help support the various programs administered through the Crimestoppers of Halton organization. Poster printing services can be used to create a variety of Promotional Products that can help to make the pubic more aware of events such as this that take place in their community.
The event has been scheduled for Sunday, May 8, starting at 9:00 am in the parking lot of the Real Canadian Superstore at 820 Main Street E in Milton.
