Milton's Granite Ridge Golf Course to host charity tournament

Golf enthusiasts from around Milton are being invited to come together in late spring and help children in need of medical care.

The Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation is set to host the second instalment of its yearly Teeing Off for a Miracle event, which will raise money for the Miracle on Main Street. This is a not-for-profit group that supports the hospital For Sick Children in Toronto, Halton Women’s Place, and the McMaster Children’s Hospital.

The event is being held at the Granite Ridge Golf Club on June 19th, and the entry fees for a foursome are $740, $370 for a pair and $ 185 for those who choose to play on their own.

The cost includes a buffet-style dinner and a lunch, and there will also be a raffle. A printing company can produce sheets for keeping track of the scores, as well as T-Shirts, event decorations, and any other items that are needed to help make the tournament a success.

Those interested in taking part can register at the club starting at 11:00am, with the shotgun start time for those who wish to begin early being set for 12:30pm.

Anyone who wishes to obtain more information, or to go ahead and book their spot in the tournament, is asked to contact Colleen at (905) 749-1659.
