Helping out in the community can be a rewarding experience and the Milton Volunteer Fair hopes for a high turnout at tomorrow’s fair. Various non-profit organizations will be on hand on November 3 to describe the various opportunities to Milton residents who are looking to make a difference in the community. Companies offering printing services can also make a difference in ensuring resident turnout is high.
Seven members of the Milton Volunteer Fair committee will be in attendance at the Fair, scheduled to be held at the Milton Sports Centre Banquet Room. Opportunities will range tremendously and cater to all ages.
The annual event is made successful in part through the volunteering efforts of the committee, as well as through promotional efforts describing the rewards of volunteering, including making differences in the life of the community and individuals, developing transferable skills in the workplace, making lifelong friends, and gaining real work experience.
The event also has plenty of opportunities for local printers to spread the word about the benefits of volunteering and the need for community support. Brochure printing about various non-profit organizations and volunteering opportunities could be of use, as could poster printing describing volunteer recognition and the work of non-profits, and perhaps flyer printing about volunteer events and the Volunteer Halton Youth Advisory Council. Printed informational Booklets will also be available about the North BurLINKton Chill Zone - a volunteer based aftercare program for needy children.
The Fair will be held from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm tomorrow and has now run for eight consecutive years.Get a Free Quote for Booklets
