This June will see the sophomore edition of Milton’s For the Love of Fathers and Food Trucks event, intended to create a festival-like atmosphere to celebrate Father’s Day.
The event will host over 30 vendors providing food and drink, as well as other marketplace items. Confirmed food trucks include Dogg Shoppe TO, 6 Spice Rack, Funnel Cake Dream, and Ice Cream 4U. Local brewers will also be on hand offering handcrafted beer and wine, including West Avenue Cider and Karbon Brewing Co. Among the other marketplace vendors are T Light Vintage Candle Co, Purple Tongue Hot Sauce, and Moose River Preserves, offering a wide variety of potential items for the house or for a gift.
There will be live music from local artists throughout the afternoon-long event. For the Love of Fathers will also feature dad-friendly games and activities, including axe throwing and lawn games. Attendees are encouraged to bring their fathers and other male role models in their lives to enjoy the afternoon. Festival-type events such as this, often promoted through local poster printing and social media, are popular around this time of year for people to connect with loved ones in the summer warmth. This will be the second annual edition of “For the Love of Fathers and Food Trucks” after its debut last year, and the event is hoping to become a summer mainstay in Milton.
The 2023 For the Love of Fathers and Food Trucks will take place on June 18 at the Milton Fairgrounds.
