This April in Milton will feature a market with a dual purpose, as the Dessert Fest and Spring Fling Market takes place.
The one-day festival will feature over 70 local bakers, chocolatiers, cooks, and other vendors. The focus is on desserts, but there will also be an artisan marketplace with a number of other local vendors. A live stage will provide music and other entertainment. The goal is to create an energetic marketplace to welcome spring, with marketing material encouraging attendees to:

The festival is hosted by Neighbourhood Events, which holds similar seasonal marketplaces throughout the year, including a Moms & Mimosas event planned for Mother’s Day weekend. Bakers and other vendors are selected through an online application process. Marketplace events like this offer the chance to experience new tastes, with vendors sometimes offering unique sales and Promotional Products to make a connection with customers. This will be the first Dessert Fest, with plans to make it an annual event going forward.
The Dessert Fest & Spring Fling Marketplace will take place at Rink A of the Milton Sports Centre on the afternoon of April 20.
