The October Festival is designed to highlight the environment as well as serve as a precursor to Halloween. There will be a large vendor marketplace, featuring local artists, crafters, and other creators offering unique gift goods. Vendors at marketplaces like this are selected through online applications and often offer unique seasonal deals or Promotional Products to celebrate the occasion. There will also be a number of food and drink vendors, offering fall-inspired treats including the now-ubiquitous pumpkin spice and even a miniature Fall Dessert Fest.
The Festival will also include live on-stage entertainment including music from local bands and more. There will be Halloween-inspired activities and decorations throughout the fairgrounds, allowing attendees to get an early start on their decorating or costumes, or just get into the spooky spirit. The festival is organized by Neighbourhood Events, which promotes local seasonal events in Milton, such as the Canada Day Lavender Festival hosted this past summer. The 2024 Milton October Festival will take place during the afternoon of October 6 at the Milton Fairgrounds. Attendance is free for all visitors.
